Meet Seattle-based gritty rock'n rollers The Grizzled Mighty, a force to be reckoned with. In February 2015 the duo released their third full-length album 'Closed Knuckle Jaw', a ferocious eleven-track project loaded with catchy hooks, gravelly vocals, and bluesy in all the right places. PopMatters went on to describe their album as "Dirty guitar distortion and hip-shakin’ rhythms (“Miles of Cocaine”) rise to the forefront of the duo’s music. All of the tunes here are given firm grounding in the tight interplay between Granger and Flores; like the famed drum ‘n’ bass duo Death from Above 1979, having only two members allows each player to focus his or her energy on the other, resulting in an undeniable dynamic between the two."
The band have kept busy promoting 'Closed Knuckle Jaw' giving all-out electrifying performances and rattling hearts. Over the summer the pair took the stage at Bumbershoot Festival alongside Fitz and The Tantrums, The Weeknd, Zedd, and other big-name acts.
Tomorrow at get ready to thump your way around to some dirty in-your-face rock n' roll as The Grizzled Mighty lead the stage at Rockwood Music Hall.

Cleveland’s own Thaddeus Anna Greene are a blues rock band with enough soul to fill up a stadium. Their freewheeling vibe, complete with brash guitar riffs and intricate rhythm sections, is totally contagious. The band draws influence from greats like Jimi Hendrix, Bob Dylan and Nirvana, but their sound is unique unto its own. They’ve managed to stay under the radar up to this point, but we think that’ll be changing soon. Thaddeus Anna Greene is a powerhouse of an ensemble, and they’re going to reign over Rockwood tomorrow.
